Fred Brooks

Fred Brooks was a computer scientist best known for leading the development of IBM's System/360 and for authoring "The Mythical Man-Month," a key book on software project management. He highlighted how software projects often take longer than expected and introduced the idea that adding more people to a late project can make it worse—a concept known as Brooks's Law.
