Fraudulent Inducement

Fraudulent inducement occurs when one party intentionally provides false information or misleading claims to persuade another to enter into a contract or agree to terms. The goal is to influence the other party's decision through deception, knowing that they would not have agreed if they had known the truth. If successful, the deceived party can generally revoke or undo the contract because it was based on dishonest practices. Essentially, it's a form of deception used to manipulate someone into a legally binding agreement.
