Franz Reuleaux
Franz Reuleaux was a German engineer and inventor who lived from 1829 to 1905. He is best known for pioneering the study of kinematics—the science of motion—and for developing the "mechanical kinematic chain," a way of understanding how different parts of a machine move in relation to each other. Reuleaux’s work laid the foundation for modern robotics and mechanical design by analyzing how components work together to produce precise movements. His research helped engineers build more efficient, reliable machinery, influencing many technological advancements in automation and machine theory.
