Frances Fuller Victor

Frances Fuller Victor (1832–1902) was an American historian and writer known for her detailed histories of the American West. She was one of the first women to publish major works on Western history, documenting periods from Native American cultures to the settlement of Oregon and California. Her writings combined thorough research with engaging storytelling, helping to shape understanding of American frontier history.
