Frameline

Frameline is a nonprofit organization dedicated to showcasing and celebrating LGBTQ+ cinema through the Frameline Film Festival, held annually in San Francisco. It provides a platform for diverse LGBTQ+ stories, fostering understanding and inclusion by screening a wide range of films—features, documentaries, and shorts—from around the world. Beyond the festival, Frameline offers year-round programs, educational initiatives, and community engagement efforts to promote visibility, representation, and dialogue within and outside the LGBTQ+ community. Its mission is to inspire, educate, and connect people through the power of LGBTQ+ films.
