FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name)
A Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) is the complete address used to identify a specific computer or website on the internet. It includes both the hostname (the specific device) and the domain name (the website’s main address), along with all the higher-level domains needed to locate it precisely. For example, in "server.example.com," "server" is the hostname, "example" is the domain, and ".com" is the top-level domain. The FQDN makes sure that when you type it in a browser, your connection reaches the exact server or website intended.
