Founder's Syndrome

Founder’s Syndrome is a situation where a company’s founder, or main leader, becomes overly involved in daily operations, decisions, and control, often resisting input from others. This can happen as the business grows, making it difficult for the organization to develop a strong management team or adapt to change. It may lead to decision-making that’s personal rather than strategic, hindering the company’s progress and sustainability. Essentially, it’s when the founder’s strong attachment to their role and vision limits the company’s ability to evolve beyond its origins.
