Foucault's Pendulum
Foucault's Pendulum is a simple device demonstrating Earth's rotation. It consists of a large, suspended pendulum that swings in a fixed direction in space. Over time, as Earth rotates beneath it, the pendulum's swing appears to change direction relative to the ground, illustrating Earth's rotation in real time. This effect occurs because the pendulum maintains its initial plane of motion while the Earth's surface moves underneath it, providing a visual proof of Earth's spin without any external tracking devices.
