Foster Care Program
A Foster Care Program provides temporary housing and support for children and youth who cannot live with their biological families due to safety concerns, neglect, or abuse. Foster parents or caregivers, who are trained and supervised by child welfare agencies, offer a safe, nurturing environment while efforts are made to resolve family issues or find permanent solutions such as reunification, guardianship, or adoption. The goal is to ensure children's well-being and stability during difficult times, while working toward their safety, health, and emotional development.
