Forward integration

Forward integration is a business strategy where a company expands its operations by taking control of activities that come after its current production process. For example, a manufacturer might start selling its products directly to customers or open its own retail outlets. This allows the company to have more control over distribution, improve profit margins, and better connect with its customers. Essentially, it moves the company closer to the end consumer, reducing reliance on intermediaries and increasing its influence over the sales process.
