Forum Theater

Forum Theater is an interactive drama technique where a staged performance explores social or personal issues. After the play, audience members are invited to suggest or step into scenes to explore different solutions or responses to the problems portrayed. This participatory approach encourages reflection, discussion, and learning by actively involving viewers in problem-solving, fostering empathy and awareness of various perspectives. Originally developed by Augusto Boal, it aims to empower individuals to recognize their agency and consider alternative ways to handle challenging situations in real life.
