Fort Pershing
Fort Pershing was a U.S. military installation located in Montana, built in the early 20th century to train and house soldiers. Named after General John J. Pershing, it served as a training center during World War I, providing soldiers with essential skills before deployment. The fort included barracks, training grounds, and various facilities, functioning mainly through the 1910s and 1920s. Today, it is a National Historic Site, preserving its history as part of military training efforts and contributions to the U.S. armed forces' development during wartime.
