Fort Negley

Fort Negley is a historic stone fort built during the American Civil War in Nashville, Tennessee. Constructed between 1862 and 1864 by Union troops, it served as a strategic military defensive position to protect the city from Confederate attacks. The fort features large stone and earth structures, including walls and gun emplacements, built quickly using local labor.
