Foreign Policy of Armenia
Armenia’s foreign policy is centered on ensuring its national security, strengthening international relationships, and preserving its cultural identity. It seeks close ties with friendly countries, especially Russia, to maintain security, while also engaging with the European Union and the United States for economic and diplomatic support. Armenia aims to resolve regional conflicts, notably with Azerbaijan over Nagorno-Karabakh, through negotiation. It balances its historical alliances with a desire for regional stability and economic development, while striving to gain international recognition and support for its sovereignty and security concerns.
