FMLN guerillas

The FMLN (Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front) was a guerrilla group in El Salvador that fought from 1980 to 1992 against the government during the country's civil war. Comprising military and political members, they aimed to address social justice issues, inequality, and land reform. Initially a coalition of leftist organizations, the FMLN engaged in armed conflict, but eventually transitioned into a political party after peace agreements, playing a role in El Salvador's democratic process.
