Fluoride Removal

Fluoride removal is a process used to reduce excess fluoride levels in drinking water. While fluoride can prevent tooth decay, too much can cause health issues like dental fluorosis. Techniques such as activated alumina, reverse osmosis, and bone char filters are commonly used to effectively lower fluoride concentrations. These methods work by attracting or trapping fluoride molecules, allowing cleaner water to pass through. The goal is to provide safe, balanced fluoride levels—enough to protect dental health but not so much as to pose health risks.
