flossing techniques

Flossing involves gently sliding a piece of dental floss between your teeth to remove plaque and food particles. Start with about 18 inches of floss, winding most around your middle fingers. Gently guide the floss between your teeth using a zigzag motion, curving it around each tooth in a C-shape. Move the floss up and down the sides of each tooth, reaching just below the gumline without forcing it. Use a clean section of floss for each tooth. Flossing daily helps prevent cavities and gum disease, promoting healthier teeth and gums.
