Floriography
Floriography is the art of using flowers to convey secret messages or emotions, a form of symbolic communication that became popular in the Victorian era. Each flower, and sometimes its color or arrangement, carries specific meanings—like a red rose symbolizing love or a yellow chrysanthemum indicating friendship. This practice allowed people to express feelings subtly when direct communication was limited or inappropriate. Today, floriography can still add depth to gestures, arrangements, or gifts by embedding personal or cultural messages through carefully chosen blooms.
