Floating Wind Turbines

Floating wind turbines are offshore energy structures that generate electricity by capturing wind high above the ocean surface. Unlike fixed-bottom turbines anchored directly to the seabed, these turbines are mounted on floating platforms that can drift with ocean currents and waves. The platforms are stabilized with anchors or mooring systems, allowing turbines to be installed in deep or deepening waters where traditional fixed turbines aren't feasible. This technology harnesses strong, consistent winds over deep waters, expanding renewable energy possibilities while minimizing impact on marine environments and shipping routes.
