Flight science explains how aircraft stay in the air and move. It is based on four key principles called the "aerodynamic forces": lift (upward force from wings), weight (gravity pulling down), thrust (forward push from engines), and drag (air resistance). Wings generate lift by creating a pressure difference when air moves faster over the top than the bottom. Pilots control these forces with the airplane's controls to take off, fly, and land smoothly. Understanding flight science helps improve aircraft design, safety, and efficiency in transportation.
