Flight IIA is an upgraded version of the earlier Flight I series of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers. It features improvements such as enhanced radar and weapon systems, better survivability, and increased capability to support advanced missions. The "IIA" designation indicates modifications like additional mission modules and updated electronics.
