Flash (Adobe Flash)

Adobe Flash was a multimedia platform used to create interactive content such as animations, games, videos, and web applications. It relied on a specific plugin to run embedded media within web browsers, enabling dynamic and rich online experiences. Flash allowed developers to craft visually engaging content that wasn't easily achievable with standard HTML or JavaScript. However, due to security concerns, compatibility issues, and the rise of open standards like HTML5, Flash was discontinued by Adobe in 2020. Today, most of its functions have migrated to more secure, modern technologies, and Flash is largely phased out.
