Flamingos

Flamingos are large, wading birds known for their striking pink or reddish feathers, long legs, and distinctive curved beaks. Their color comes from carotenoid pigments in their diet, mainly from algae and crustaceans. They often stand on one leg and live in shallow lakes, lagoons, and wetlands where they filter food from the water with their beaks. Flamingos are social birds, living in colonies that can include thousands of individuals. Their unique appearance and behaviors make them easily recognizable and a symbol of nature's diversity.
