fixed vs. growth mindset
A fixed mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence are static traits—people are born with a certain amount and can't change much. A growth mindset, on the other hand, is the belief that abilities can develop through effort, learning, and perseverance. Those with a growth mindset tend to embrace challenges, see failures as opportunities to improve, and are more resilient. In contrast, fixed mindset individuals may avoid challenges, fear failure, and believe effort isn’t rewarding. Adopting a growth mindset encourages continuous learning and personal development.
