Fisher's Model

Fisher’s Model, also known as Fisher’s Fundamental Theorem of Natural Selection, states that in a large population with no mutations or other external influences, the average fitness (adaptation) of the population tends to increase over time through natural selection. Essentially, beneficial genetic traits become more common because individuals with those traits are more likely to survive and reproduce. This process gradually improves the population's overall ability to survive and thrive in its environment. The model highlights the power of natural selection to shape and enhance biological traits over generations.
