First Mesa

First Mesa is a prominent, flat-topped mountain located in northeastern Arizona, within the Navajo Nation. It is one of the three sacred Hopi mesas, serving as a central cultural and spiritual site for the Hopi people. The mesa rises about 7,500 feet above sea level and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Its cliffs and terraces have historically provided protection and a strategic location for habitation. Today, First Mesa remains a cultural hub, home to Hopi villages and traditional ceremonies, symbolizing resilience and the deep spiritual connection of the Hopi to their land.
