First Aid Nursing Yeomanry
The First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY) is a voluntary organization originally established in 1907, primarily composed of women trained in first aid and nursing. During World War I and World War II, members provided medical support, driving ambulances, and assisting in hospitals, often in dangerous conditions. FANY has played a significant role in humanitarian efforts and disaster response. Today, it continues its mission, supporting emergency services and providing first aid training, as well as participating in various community initiatives, always promoting health and safety. Its legacy reflects dedication to care and service in times of need.
