Firewalking
Firewalking is the act of walking barefoot across a bed of hot embers or stones, typically as part of a ritual or challenge. Despite the intense heat, trained individuals often traverse the fire without injury due to factors like brief contact time, the moisture and insulating properties of ash, and the fire’s low thermal conductivity. The practice is often used to demonstrate mental strength, focus, and confidence, rather than just physical endurance. Firewalking is conducted under controlled conditions with safety precautions, and while it appears dangerous, proper technique and mindset can make it possible to walk across the fire safely.
