Fire extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are portable devices designed to control small fires before they spread. They contain specific agents—such as foam, CO2, dry chemicals, or water—that interrupt the fire’s chemical reaction. Different extinguishers suit different fire types: A for common combustibles, B for flammable liquids, C for electrical fires, and so on. Proper use involves pulling the pin, aiming at the base of the fire, and sweeping from side to side. Regular maintenance and training ensure effective deployment, making extinguishers essential safety tools for homes, workplaces, and public spaces to prevent fire damage and injuries.
