Fillmore East

Fillmore East was a famous concert venue in New York City, operated by concert promoter Bill Graham from 1968 to 1971. Known for its exceptional sound quality and intimate atmosphere, it hosted many legendary rock, jazz, and blues artists of the era, like Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and Miles Davis. The venue played a significant role in the changing music scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s, helping to popularize live music and supporting emerging artists. Though it closed in 1971, Fillmore East remains an iconic space in music history.
