FIGC, or Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio, is Italy’s governing body for soccer. It oversees the organization of Italian football leagues, manages national teams, sets rules, and promotes the sport across the country. Founded in 1898, FIGC ensures competitions are conducted fairly and maintains the development of Italian soccer at both amateur and professional levels. It also works with international soccer organizations to coordinate national and international tournaments involving Italian teams and players. Essentially, FIGC is responsible for all aspects of soccer in Italy, supporting its growth and integrity.
