FIDO U2F (Universal 2nd Factor) is a security protocol that enhances online account protection by adding a physical device, like a security key, to the login process. When signing in, after entering your password, you connect or tap the security key, which verifies your identity securely. This makes it much harder for hackers to access your accounts, even if they have your password, since they would also need the physical device.
