Fiber Tracking

Fiber tracking is a medical imaging technique that maps the brain's network of nerve fibers, known as white matter. Using advanced MRI scans, it visualizes how different parts of the brain are connected through these fibers. By tracking the path of water movement along the fibers, it creates detailed 3D images, helping doctors understand brain connectivity. This process is useful for diagnosing and planning treatment for neurological conditions, as well as for research into how the brain's wiring supports functions like movement, speech, and cognition.
