FHL (Fibularis Hallucis) Tendon

The Fibularis Hallucis (FHL) tendon is a small, strong tissue that connects a muscle in the lower leg to the base of the big toe. It helps perform movements like lifting the big toe and turning the foot outward. This tendon runs behind the outer ankle bone and along the side of the foot, playing a key role in balance and walking.
