Fetus
A fetus is the developing human from around the 9th week of pregnancy until birth. During this stage, the body structures and organs continue to grow and mature, allowing the fetus to prepare for independent life outside the womb. It develops features such as limbs, facial features, and vital organs, which function more fully over time. The fetus is protected inside the uterus, receiving nutrients and oxygen through the placenta. This period is crucial for growth, and overall health, leading up to the process of birth.
