FEMA Corps is a program under the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that engages young adults, typically aged 18 to 24, in service to help communities prepare for and respond to disasters. This team works alongside professionals in various roles, such as emergency management, logistics, and public outreach. Participants gain hands-on experience and training in disaster response while serving the public good. FEMA Corps is part of AmeriCorps, combining service learning with real-world skills, contributing to community resilience and recovery efforts during emergencies.
