Felder-Silverman Model
The Felder-Silverman Model describes different ways people prefer to learn and process information. It identifies four main dimensions: how learners perceive new information (sensing or intuitive), how they process it (active or reflective), their approach to understanding the material (visual or verbal), and how they prefer to organize their learning (sequential or global). Recognizing these preferences can help teachers or learners tailor methods to improve understanding and retention. Essentially, it highlights that everyone has unique learning styles, and adapting to these styles can make learning more effective.
