Feeling and Knowing
Feeling and knowing are two ways we experience and understand the world. Feeling refers to our emotional and sensory responses—like happiness, sadness, or the warmth of the sun—that are often immediate and subjective. Knowing involves awareness and understanding gained through thought, reason, and information, such as recognizing facts or understanding concepts. While feelings are often quick and rooted in our sensations or emotions, knowing is more deliberate, involving analysis and reflection. Both are interconnected, helping us navigate our experiences with emotional insight and rational understanding.
