Federal Security Agency

The Federal Security Agency was a U.S. government organization established in 1939 to coordinate various federal efforts related to public health, education, and welfare. It included agencies like the Public Health Service, the Office of Education, and the Social Security Board. Its goal was to organize and oversee services that promote health, education, and social security across the country. In 1953, it was replaced by the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, which later became part of the Department of Health and Human Services.
