Federal CHIP Program

The Federal CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) provides health coverage for children in families with incomes too high for Medicaid but who still cannot afford private insurance. It helps ensure kids get necessary medical care, including doctor visits, vaccinations, and hospital stays. Funded jointly by the federal government and states, CHIP often offers comprehensive coverage at lower costs, with little or no copayments. The program aims to promote healthy development and prevent health issues by making sure children have access to quality healthcare services.
