February Days

The February Days refer to the February Revolution of 1917 in Russia, which led to the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II and the collapse of the Romanov monarchy. It was fueled by widespread dissatisfaction with the government, economic hardship, and military defeats during World War I. Mass protests and strikes in Petrograd (now Saint Petersburg) prompted the abdication, establishing a provisional government. This revolution marked the beginning of significant political change, eventually paving the way for the Bolshevik Revolution later that year. The February Days symbolize a pivotal shift from imperial rule toward revolutionary upheaval in Russia.
