FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt)

Franklin D. Roosevelt, often called FDR, was the 32nd President of the United States, serving from 1933 to 1945. He led the nation through the Great Depression by implementing programs to create jobs and stimulate the economy, known as the New Deal. He also guided the U.S. during most of World War II, helping to organize the country's response to global conflict. Roosevelt is remembered for his leadership during challenging times, his ability to communicate effectively with the American people, and for helping to shape modern American government and society.
