Fax
A fax (short for facsimile) is a method of electronically transmitting scanned printed material, such as documents or images, over a telephone line. It works by converting the document into a digital image, which is then sent directly to another fax machine. The recipient's machine reproduces the document onto paper. Although less common today due to email and digital sharing, fax remains used in some businesses for secure or official document exchange. It’s a way to quickly send a physical document over long distances without scanning or mailing it physically.
