Fate of the Universe theory

The "fate of the universe" theory explores how the universe might end based on its current expansion and the amount of matter and energy it contains. If the universe's expansion slows down and eventually stops, it could recollapse in a “Big Crunch.” If it continues expanding forever at an accelerating rate due to dark energy, it might become cold and empty, known as the “Big Freeze.” Alternatively, some suggest a “Big Rip,” where the universe tears itself apart as dark energy accelerates expansion infinitely. Current evidence suggests an ongoing accelerated expansion, pointing toward a cold, ever-expanding universe.
