FAST

FAST is a simple, quick tool used to recognize the signs of a Stroke. It stands for Face, Arms, Speech, and Time. First, check if one side of the person's face droops when they smile. Next, ask them to raise both arms—see if one drifts downward. Then, listen to their speech—if it's slurred or strange, that's a warning. If any of these signs are present, it’s urgent—call emergency services immediately. FAST helps people identify potential strokes early, enabling faster medical treatment, which can reduce brain damage and improve recovery chances.
