Fashion Revolution Day
Fashion Revolution Day is an annual event held on April 24th to raise awareness about the social and environmental impacts of the fashion industry. It was created in memory of the Rana Plaza factory collapse in 2013, which killed over 1,000 garment workers in Bangladesh. The day encourages consumers, brands, and workers to consider how clothing is made, promote transparency, and advocate for fair labor practices and sustainable production. Participants often ask brands, “Who made my clothes?” to promote accountability and foster a more ethical, environmentally conscious fashion industry.
