FASA Corporation

FASA Corporation was a company that designed and published science fiction and fantasy tabletop role-playing games, most notably the original *Battletech* and *Shadowrun* RPGs. Founded in the 1980s, it provided game rules, settings, and materials that allowed players to immerse themselves in futuristic combat, corporate espionage, and cyberpunk worlds. FASA collaborated with various writers and artists to create rich, detailed game universes, and its products have influenced gaming culture. In 2001, FASA ceased operations, but its game properties live on through licensed publishers and dedicated fan communities.
