Al-Farabi was an influential medieval philosopher and thinker from the Islamic Golden Age, often called the "Second Teacher" after Aristotle. He explored ideas about logic, politics, ethics, and the nature of knowledge, emphasizing the importance of reason and the pursuit of virtue for personal and societal harmony. Al-Farabi believed that a well-ordered society, guided by wise leaders who understand the true nature of the soul and knowledge, could attain happiness and justice.
