Fania Davis

Fania Davis is an American attorney, scholar, and activist dedicated to ending racial violence and promoting social justice. She co-founded the Restorative Justice Mediation Program at UC Berkeley and works to heal communities affected by conflict and injustice. Drawing on her background as a defense attorney and her personal experiences growing up during the Civil Rights Movement, she advocates for restorative justice—focused on repairing harm through understanding and reconciliation—rather than punishment alone.
