Family-to-Family Education Program
The Family-to-Family Education Program is a free, peer-led course designed to help family members and friends of individuals with serious mental illnesses, like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. It provides practical information about mental health conditions, effective communication strategies, crisis management, and self-care techniques. The goal is to empower loved ones with knowledge and skills to better support their family members and improve overall family well-being. Delivered by trained volunteers who have personal experience with mental illness, the program fosters understanding, reduces feelings of isolation, and enhances the ability to navigate complex caregiving challenges.
